Nancy Hardwick
President

Nancy Hardwick has been working in the market research industry since 1986. Combining her skill for project management and her talent for questionnaire design and focus group moderation, she started Hardwick Research in 1994.

Since then, Ms. Hardwick has been successfully assisting organizations with their qualitative and quantitative research needs. She has designed and managed hundreds of studies to determine attitudes towards products and services as well as gathered public opinion surrounding current issues.

Ms. Hardwick is an experienced moderator, skilled listener and communicator. She is a resource for innovative techniques of data collection.  

Nancy continues to update her skills through attending various classes, seminars and conferences.  One of her favorite conferences is the yearly Qualitative Research Consultants Association, which provides great insight into the latest marketing research techniques.  Nancy has also conducted workshops on various marketing research topics including, “The ABC’s of Focus Group Research” and “Measuring Customer Satisfaction.” 

Prior to starting her firm, Nancy Hardwick worked as an account executive for a Seattle area full service marketing research firm. Ms. Hardwick has a BA from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.

Nancy serves as Vice President for the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), an international qualitative research professional organization. Nancy is also Past-President of Puget Sound Research Forum (PSRF) and Treasurer for the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association.

Annette Syrrist
Administrative Assistant

Annette Syrrist joined Hardwick Research in June 2005. She brings to our team her skills from previous administrative and recruiting roles. She has also built upon previous marketing experience and taken on the broad variety of responsibilities as a market research assistant.

Ms. Syrrist is an excellent communicator and her strong people skills are ideal for conducting in-depth interviews. In addition to assisting with data collection, Annette is involved in various aspects of the day-to-day management of research studies. Her attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines are must haves in this very busy environment.

Annette's experience in event planning and travel management is an added bonus as she oversees planning and coordination for the various focus groups conducted by Hardwick Research throughout the United States.
